    S - Nice ideas in your brain storm.
    I - Can you please finalise your ideas? This will help you move forward and start thinking about your main task and cross media product.
    T - See above and write a short conclusion in which you identify what you're going to do for your main task and cross media product... please write this in RED FONT.

NEA Research Part 3 - Intertextuality research

Intertextuality Research Intertextuality is when you make reference to a media text through another media text. Different ways in which intertextuality is used is through direct reference, paying homage, or parody; an example of this is from the magazine 'The Big Issue' which uses numerous different types of references, one being on the front cover their magazine in the  J une 13-19 2016 edition where they intertextualised the Swedish pop group called ABBA to create a comedic effect on the EU referendum and placed these leaders' faces on top of the bodies of the pop group to make it look like they're in a band. This type of intertextuality would come under a parody and due to this it i nfluences the audiences perception on the media text and also helps the audience feel pleasure through recognising the references made.
